Our specialty services at Brooklyn Spine Center

Brooklyn Spine Center offers a range of advanced, non-surgical treatments, including several that many chiropractic offices don’t have. Each one is used as part of a targeted care plan, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

You won't be recommended a service unless there's a reason for it

Nothing in your care plan is there without a clinical reason. We don’t upsell services, and we don’t apply everything we have to every patient. After your evaluation, your doctor will explain which therapies are recommended, why each one fits your condition, and what role it plays in your recovery. More than a chiropractic office

Brooklyn Spine Center was built to handle complex cases. Dr. Melinda Keller and our team have invested in the equipment, training, and care process to help patients who haven’t found answers elsewhere. Here’s what that looks like:

Multiple advanced chiropractic techniques under one roof

Applied Kinesiology, Cranial Sacral therapy, Sacral Occipital technique, and the Pro Adjustor instrument adjusting system, used individually or in combination based on clinical need.

Services are never applied in isolation

Every therapy is part of a structured care plan built around our four-milestone approach, so each one is used at the stage where it fits best.

Care plans are custom-built, not templated

What you receive is determined by a thorough evaluation of your nervous system, structural condition, healing capacity, and movement patterns, not by a standard package.

Care for complex cases

We regularly see patients with complex neuropathy, chronic disc problems, ongoing joint pain, and metabolic and structural stress.

Questions about Services

1. Do I need to be referred for a specific service, or do you determine what's needed?

We determine what’s appropriate based on your evaluation, so you don’t need to come in with a specific service in mind. Your doctor will recommend the therapies that fit your condition and explain why. You can read about each service on its own page using the cards above.

2. Are these services covered by insurance?

Coverage varies by plan and by service. Chiropractic adjustments and some evaluations are commonly covered, while therapies like PEMF, shockwave, cold laser, and spinal decompression may not be. Our billing team can check your benefits, and we’ll talk with you about costs before care begins. Learn more on our Costs & Insurance page.

3. Can multiple services be used together in the same visit?

Yes, and that’s how care is structured for many patients. Some therapies work best together in the same visit, and your care plan will spell out which ones are used, in what order, and how often.

4. How long does a typical service session take?

It depends on which therapies are part of your visit. An adjustment takes much less time than a decompression session or a combined visit. Once your care plan is set, you’ll know what to expect.

5. What if a service doesn't seem to be working for me?

We monitor your progress and adjust your plan as needed. If a therapy isn’t helping the way we expected, your doctor will reassess and talk with you about what’s changing and why.

Not sure which services apply to your condition?

That’s what your first evaluation is for. Come in, let us find out what’s going on, and we’ll build a plan around what your body needs, nothing more and nothing less. See what to expect, or schedule online today.
